Departure from La Paz heading towards the guardian mountain of the city, La Paz Illimani. As we approach this mountain, its size becomes more and more impressive we will pass the valle de las Animas and the Palca Canyon a beatiful landscape. The trek starts at the San Francisco mine, and we make our way over a mountain pass at 4.600m. From here we will see a spectacular view of the Mururata Mountain In the afternoon we will arrive to the village of Takesi. Camping at 3.700m.

Overnight at Takesi

Hiking Time: 5 to 6hrs

After a good breakfast we start descending from Takesi Village to Pongo. We will be able to observe the stunning QuimsaChata River. Lunch in the open air in the Kakapi (2870m) from here we will see the contrast the yungas and Mururatasnow  mountain, Takesi River we will continuous cloud forest  then we will arrive to Yanacachi (2050m) this town is one of the oldest in Bolivia and was very important in Spaniards time  they produced that time fruits, vegetables, and Coca leaves 

Our trekking finishes at this stage and our vehicle will be waiting to drive us back to La Paz.
